Who here loves art?
I do, I draw statues in a studio with Paul Ingrebson. I have to draw with the North light, don't ask why, but I draw with it for about nine hours a week. I love it! I dont draw with pencils or paint but I draw with charcoal. I sharpen the charcoal stick about every five minutes. Let me tell you there is dust everywhere. It isn't even funny. It is nasty, But I get critiqued every friday on my drawing.
My parents say that it is a gift from God, but I have no idea how that could be a way to glory God. If someone knows please do post a comment. Or whatever it is.

Hey Sara, here is a link to a video called Jesus Painting. This is one of my favorites. I think this is one way of giving glory to God.

Imagine if you set up in a public place and began to make your drawings where everyone passing by could see what you were doing. The idea would be to effortlessly attract people into the area where you were at. Then you could have a couple of people who were bold enough to start conversations with your spectators. The goal would be witnessing to them about Jesus.

People will be drawn to what you are doing and then conversations can be started with them with the intent of leading them to Christ.

We do this with music. A couple of us will set up in a public place where there many people, the beach for instance. We start playing and singing and strangers are drawn to the music. As they approach we have people who start conversations with them. Eventually they are given tracts and possibly get prayed with and witnessed to about the love of God.

The gift you have can be used for God's glory Grin
