I must say that Jesus is my favorite one if he counts as a Character in the bible. I also really like to read in Psalms so I'm going to say that David is one of my favorites also. One more how about Peter, he did amazing things for the Lord.

OK I guess that's more than one character.

My favorite is Jesus Christ the rock!

I think one of my favorites would be David...he was God's chosen, he was King, and he made bad mistakes.  Through the choices he made...he fell, he had serious loss, and consequences to his choices.  Through all this...God never stopped loving him and knew he would return to Him.  As humans...I think sometimes we make serious, or even not so serious, mistakes or bad choices...and we think there is no way God would ever love us or want fellowship with him.  I am such a so far from perfect person...and have not made some great choices in my life, even after becoming a Christian...and yet, I am so thankful that God knows all of that and He loves me in spite of myself, and welcomes me back in to his fellowship...because of his forgiveness and love!

Well, I have a lot of favourites, but I would have to guess that my favourite is Job, He lost everything; He lost his family, home well being, health, and a whole lot more. Sure he complained, but he never lost faith in God, he still continued to have faith in God no matter what Satan threw at him.

Only someone who has had a real encounter with the living God could endure the things that Job did. That's what has happened to me. God has revealed himself in such a real way that I don't think I could ever deny him.

I know what you mean, My dad is going through some real weird medical problems and there have been time that I really just what to cry and scream at God, but then I remember that everything happens for a reason, and that if God wanted to take him home he would have, a long time ago, in the car accident
